Tech and Safety Information for Racers

Here at Great Lakes Dragaway, we understand that you're eager to get moving on the track, but there are a few pieces of information about racer safety that you need to know. Here's what all racers need to race:


  • Long pants and a shirt with sleeves (long or short sleeves)
  • Shoes — no sandals or flip-flops allowed
  • Cycles (bikes and similar vehicles) must wear helmets
  • All drifting participants must wear helmets
