Trackside Billboards

Located along the race track from the starting line up to the 400-foot mark, trackside billboards are visible to all spectators and racers alike. This location also gives extreme internet advertising. Virtually all fan-taken pictures and videos posted on Facebook or YouTube show these billboards clearly.

• Starting Line Billboards
• 8'X12 ′ positioned on the starting line.
• Along the Track Billboards
• Positioned 200-400 feet down track: 8'x8′, 8′x12′.

All contracts are for one season-year. You must supply your own sign, and there is a one-time installation fee to mount the sign only in your first year, which is waived if you renew your contract.

Tower Billboard

Show the power of your billboard by mounting it onto the race control tower. These billboards stand out the most and are visible to everyone. They are rivaled only as the most potent advertising spot on the property by the scoreboard signs.

• Mounted on the front of the tower, above the windows (location A): 3′x12′.
• Mounted on the front of the tower, below the windows (location B): 6′x12′.
• Mounted on the front base of the tower (location C): 4′x4′.
• Mounted on the side base of the tower (location D): 4′x4′.

All prices are for one contract year. You must supply your sign, and there is a one-time installation fee to mount the sign. The fee is waived in subsequent years if you elect to renew your contract.

Scoreboards

The ultimate advertising spot at Great Lakes Dragaway is on the scoreboards. Aside from being viewed every time people turn their heads to see how fast a racer went, sponsoring the scoreboard also means you are supporting that lane. The announcers routinely say, for example, "and in the Miller Lite lane, we have the MOFOCO Funny Car taking the win at 212 miles per hour!"

The scoreboard sponsors are also listed on every single timeslip, and a prominent banner link to your website is listed near the very top of GLD's website home page.

It is positioned on top of the scoreboard, with only two available!

With great power comes great responsibility. All contracts are for three contract years.

Guard Wall Billboards

Installed along the outer side of the concrete guard wall barriers, your billboard will be visible to all spectators in the grandstands and racers coming back on the return road.

Positioned in the first available spot:

• 2′x4′
• 2′x8′

All prices are for one contract year. You must supply a sign. There is a one-time installation fee which can later be waived for contract renewals.

Starting Line Billboards

Installed along the center line between the two racing lanes leading up to the 'Tree, these signboards are in virtually all of the best launch, wheel standing, and even jet car fire show pictures!

Positioned in the center of each lane:

• 2′x4′: $2500
• 2′x8′

Back of Grandstands Billboard

High up in the sky, this location is prime real estate that everyone sees in the concession area, where most spectators go during breaks in the action.

Positioned on top of the starting line angled bleachers:

• 8′x8′
• 8′x12′

Positioned on top of the trackside bleachers:

• 8′x8′
• 8′x12′

All prices are for one contract year. After supplying your sign, there is a one-time installation fee. If you choose to renew your contract, you can waive this fee in subsequent years.

Staging Lane Billboards

Installed on the fence along the short staging lanes, competitors who drive to get in line to race and spectators walking around checking out the pits will see these signs.

Positioned along the short staging fence:

• 4′x4′
• 4′x8′

There is a one-time installation fee to mount your sign. This fee can be waived for following years if you renew your contract. All prices are for one contract year.

Front Gate Billboards

Installed on the fence near the facility entrance, everyone who enters the grounds is guaranteed to view your billboard.

Positioned along the left side of the entrance:

• 4′x4′
• 4′x8′

Please note that all prices are for a one-year contract. You must supply your own sign. Please be aware that there is a one-time installation fee. You do not need to pay this fee in subsequent years if you elect to renew your contract.

Great Lakes Dragaway Website Advertising

We offer banner link placement for folks who wish to purchase something other than a billboard but would still like to have their business's website advertised on one of the most frequently visited drag strip websites in the Midwest and east coast.

• 450×85 pixel banner on the main page content.
• 170×170 pixel logo is fixed on the sidebar to the left of the GLD website.
• 170×170 pixel logo is put into a random generator image display, which will show up when site visitors load the webpage.

Payment for internet advertising is due in full before your banner is placed. By purchasing an online contract or getting one included for free with a billboard contract, you agree that your banner may be slightly edited (resized, slight color changes to eliminate clashing with the GLD website design, etc.) before posting.
